We are a couple of city slickers who decided we had enough of the city life and wanted to live a more sustainable life in the country. With zero farming skills and little carpentry skills we set out 4 years ago to go back in time to the late 1800’s style living. We built a 800 sq ft log home with saddle notched white oak, got a wood cook stove, some oil lamps, and the rest is history. Now we want to take you along on our journey!
